RENTFLIX: 3 days in a Proton e.MAS before you buy
A 30-minute loop around the dealership will not tell you if an EV fits the school run, the office car park, or a Friday drive home. (You also never get to plug it in at home.)
RENTFLIX is Wattz's test-own program for that question. You book a Proton e.MAS 5 or e.MAS 7 for up to 3 days, pick it up at MBf Proton e.MAS on Jalan Tun Razak, and use it on your own routes.
How the 3 days work
Book the car. Choose the e.MAS 5 or the e.MAS 7, pick dates of up to 3 days, and pay the RENTFLIX rate.
Live with it. Collect the car at MBf Proton e.MAS, Jalan Tun Razak, Kuala Lumpur. Drive the commute. Charge at home.
Buy, or bring it back. If you purchase through Wattz within 30 days, 100% of the RENTFLIX rental fee is credited to your downpayment. If you do not buy, return the car. You pay for the days you used.
The fee is credited only when you buy through Wattz inside that 30-day window. It does not build into the car's title across months of renting.
What the 3 days cost
These figures are the ones on the RENTFLIX program page on 11 Oct 2026. The e.MAS 7 PHEV is listed there as coming soon, with no rate yet.

A 3-day e.MAS 7 booking is RM 1,260. Buy through Wattz within 30 days and that RM 1,260 is the downpayment credit. The same rule applies to the e.MAS 5 total of RM 960.

Who it is for
Use it if you are close to buying a Proton e.MAS and you want the car on your own roads before you sign. The models in the program right now are the e.MAS 5 and the e.MAS 7, through MBf Proton e.MAS in Kuala Lumpur.
If you want a weekend in a Tesla, a BYD, or another car, with no purchase plan, that is a normal Wattz rental. The rate is on each car's page.
Your next weekend arrives either way. Three days in the e.MAS will tell you more than another brochure tab.
