Tesla rentals with Wattz start from RM550/day for a Tesla Model 3, and from RM590/day for a Tesla Model Y. The exact daily rate depends on the specific car, trim, and year, and is always shown on that car's own listing page before you book.

Return the car with at least the battery level it had at pickup. You record the battery level in the app at pickup and at return, and each percentage point below the pickup level costs RM2. You can charge at home on a standard wall outlet (slow charge) or at any public DC fast charger (roughly 20% to 80% in about 30 minutes). Charging costs during your rental are your responsibility.

Yes: foreign visitors can rent with Wattz as long as they hold a valid International Driving Permit (IDP) together with their home country's driver's license. You'll also need to complete identity verification (eKYC) in the app with a passport or MyKad, your driver's license, and a selfie holding your ID; our team checks it within 24 hours. Renters must be at least 21 for standard vehicles or 25 for vehicles valued at RM250,000 and above.

No. Wattz's Guest Terms & Conditions strictly prohibit taking the vehicle outside Malaysia, including to Singapore, Thailand, or Brunei. If this rule is broken, insurance coverage is voided immediately and the renter is personally liable for all resulting damages, theft, or loss.

Every booking includes 100km of driving per rental day. Extra kilometers are charged at RM1.00/km, and you can add a mileage pack of 150km, 300km or 600km at booking if you need more.

Each car has its own pickup and return location, and the address is shown on that car's page in the app before you book. Meet your host there to collect the keys. Delivery is not available.

Every cancellation has a RM80 cancellation fee. Cancel more than 72 hours before pickup and you get the rest of your payment back. Cancel 24 to 72 hours before pickup and half a day's rental is also kept; cancel less than 24 hours before pickup and one day's rental is kept. If you don't show up, one day's rental and the service fee are kept.

It comes down to space versus price: the Model 3 starts from RM550/day with 629km WLTP range and 22.9 cu ft of cargo space, while the Model Y starts from RM590/day with 600km WLTP range and 76 cu ft of cargo space including the frunk and trunk. Pick the Model 3 for a sedan with slightly longer range at a lower starting price; pick the Model Y if you need SUV-style cargo and rear liftgate access for luggage, gear, or a family trip.

Nothing extra beyond a normal booking: you'll complete the same eKYC identity check and license check as any Wattz renter, and our team checks it within 24 hours. Return the car with at least the battery level it had at pickup, and plan a charging stop on longer drives.

A driver's license held for at least 2 years (Class D or DA for a Malaysian license, or an International Driving Permit plus your home country license for foreign visitors), plus your MyKad or passport for identity verification. You book in the Wattz app with your own account, and your booking is confirmed by email and in the app.

RENTFLIX is Wattz’s test-own program. You rent an EV for up to 3 days to experience it on your actual routes. If you decide to purchase through Wattz, you get 100% cashback on your rental fee as downpayment credit.

If you purchase your EV through Wattz within 30 days of your rental, 100% of your RENTFLIX rental fee is credited toward your downpayment. For example, a 3-day eMAS 7 rental (RM 1,260) becomes RM 1,260 off your purchase.
